Rich & Full-Bodied French Press Brew

Brew Time: 4 minutes steep
Coffee: 20 g
Water: 300 ml
Grind: Coarse
Water Temp: 93–96°C

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat water and pre-warm your French press with a quick rinse.

  2. Add 20 g of coarse coffee to the carafe.

  3. Start timer and pour 300 ml of hot water over the grounds.

  4. Stir or swirl gently to make sure all grounds are saturated.

  5. Place the lid on top (plunger up) to keep heat inside.

  6. Steep for 4 minutes without touching it.

  7. At 4:00, slowly press the plunger straight down.

  8. Serve immediately to prevent over-extraction.

  9. Adjust taste next time:

    • Too strong → use less coffee

    • Too weak → use more coffee or steep 30 sec longer
